Ceilings

I started photographing stairways for the same reason I began looking up at ceilings — they shape how we move through a space but rarely get seen for their own design. Each one has its own rhythm of lines and turns, a built-in sense of motion even when nothing is moving. This gallery collects those passages between levels, where geometry and direction come together to guide the eye as much as the body.
