Landsdowne Theater, Landsdowne PA
The Lansdowne Theater opened in 1927 as a 1,358-seat movie palace in the heart of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. Designed by architect William H. Lee in a Hollywood Moorish style, it featured ornate ceilings, a grand chandelier, and a richly decorated auditorium. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the 1980s. Today, under the care of the Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation, it stands stabilized and awaiting full restoration.
