Orpheum Theater, New Bedford MA

The Orpheum Theatre in New Bedford, Massachusetts opened in 1912 as a 1,500-seat vaudeville and movie house, built by the French Sharpshooters Club. After decades of shows and films, it closed in the 1950s and has since stood mostly unused, a striking remnant of the city’s past.
