Yellow Dog Village, Armstrong, PA

Yellow Dog Village in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania was built in the 1920s by the Pittsburgh Limestone Corporation as a company town for mine workers. After the mines closed in the 1950s and critical services like water failed, residents gradually moved away. By 2010, it was largely abandoned.
